Congress Information


The two best presentations, after due evaluation by the Scientific Committee, will receive an award granted by Hip International of EUR 1,500 and EUR 1,000 respectively. The awarded abstracts will be published as full original articles/reviews in a forthcoming issue of “Hip International”. All accepted abstracts will be included in a regular issue of “Hip International” available at the Congress.

CME Credits

The EHS Congress will be submitted for accreditation to the UEMS (European Union of Medical Specialists) for European CME credits at the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).

Coffee & lunch breaks

During the breaks participants will be provided with coffee, tea and water – free of charge. Snacks and drinks are also available throughout the whole meeting for a small charge at the World Café on the Ground floor.

Congress language

The official language of the congress is English.

Delegate’s badge

Your personal badge is your entrance ticket to all sessions as well as the exhibition. Please, remember to wear your badge at the congress and the social events.

Industry exhibition

An industry exhibition will take place at the World Forum congress centre. It will be open on Thursday and Friday during the meeting opening hours. Exhibitors will present a wide range of orthopaedic related products and services. Participants are encouraged to take advantage of this unique opportunity to be updated with the most recent advances and the latest news from our industry partners.

Registration fees for the congress do not include any insurance. Neither the local organizing committee nor EHS Executive Committee will accept any responsibility or liability for any injuries, losses or damages sustained as a result of any cancellation, accidents, illness or other occurrences that may arise in connection with EHS congress 2018, unless occur as a result of our own negligence.

Mobile phones

All attendees are requested to turn-off or put their mobile phones in the silent mode during all scientific sessions.


All venues for the conference are strictly no-smoking.


Free WiFi is available in the congress center. Login and password will be announced on-site.
